Hello and Welcome to Layers of My Heart.
I'm Chris, short for Christine. And also just plain short at only 4'11".
I so enjoy creating wonderful clothes that I offer here on etsy, and also on ebay. They are one-of-a-kind! You will find Shabby Chic, Romantic, Boho, Lagenlook, Hippie, Prairie, Mori, and more
One thing that's important to me is that the garment drapes well. If it doesn't meet to my standards, I fix it till it does. Also, everything is double checked to make sure it is sewn well.
All my fashions are lovingly made with care and attention to detail. I use an old Elna sewing machine, as well as a new Brother serger. Some pieces are sewn partly by hand.
Most of my garments go through my front loading washing machine to test. Some of them I suggest hand wash.
